Thembalitsha working to change lives

#WHITFIELDSCARES

Whitfields endeavours to play its part in helping those less fortunate, by offering financial support to organizations who strive to make South Africa a better place for all who live here. It is an integral part of who we are as a company, and that also resonates deeply in our company culture, values, and ethos.

This month we feature Thembalitsha, which is the shared vision of a compassionate husband and wife duo, Frank and Kate Christie who registered the organization as an NPO in 1997

When translated from Xhosa, our name “Thembalitsha” means “new hope”. At Thembalitsha, our aim is exactly that – to restore and bring a new sense of hope to the destitute, forgotten, sick and vulnerable people of the Western and Eastern Cape. We are a Non-Profit Company (NPC), and our mission is to develop people to the point of self-reliance through the provision of services in Education, Healthcare and Training.

Whitfields highlights the various NGOs and the charitable organisations that we support in our monthly owner newsletters. By doing so we hope that you may also consider offering support if you can, so that together we can make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
