The CSOS core mandate is to regulate community schemes which entails assuming the oversight of compliance within schemes by registering all community schemes and reviewing their governance documentation. This in turn will provide a fast and reliable Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism for all disputes arising within community schemes. One part of their mandate is to ensure sound governance within community schemes by providing training and awareness to all identified stakeholders. The CSOS is encouraging owners in community schemes to visit their CSOS Connect public portal and engage with them from the comfort of their offices and homes.
