Whitfields endeavours to play its part in helping those less fortunate, by offering financial support to organizations who strive to make South Africa a better place for all who live here. It is an integral part of who we are as a company, and that also resonates deeply in our company culture, values, and ethos.

This month we feature the Agape Education Centre (Agape Educare), a Non- Profit Organisation running a South African pre-school situated in Nomzamo, Strand, Western Cape.

Agape Educare is an Early Childhood Development Centre situated in Asanda Village (Zola), Nomzamo in the Western Cape. It caters for the local community and providing an opportunity for up to 100 children to receive a solid educational foundation. “Our approach focuses on every aspect of a child’s development, from emotional to social and physical, as well as sensory, cognitive and communicative skills. Nutritional meals are provided to the learners every day, Breakfast, Lunch with a healthy snack in between. These are often a child’s first and only meals of the day.”
