HELPING THOSE IN NEED OF OUR SUPPORT – #WhitfieldsCares
Whitfields endeavours to play its part in helping those less fortunate, by offering financial support to organizations who strive to make South Africa a better place for all who live here. It is an integral part of who we are as a company, and that also resonates deeply in our company culture, values, and ethos.
This month we feature Frances Vorwerg School, which is a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organization, authorized to provide Section 18a Certificates for tax purposes on request.
Frances Vorwerg School provides schooling, a range of therapies and services for learners with physical disabilities, neurological impairments, sensory impairments, and learners with ASD (Asperger’s Syndrome) and admit children between the ages of 3 and 18 years. The school strives “to develop each learner with a unique educational need, to achieve his/her full potential and to grow to maturity, in order to become an independent and valuable member of society”.
Frances Vorwerg School also endeavours to promote in their learners the values of trustworthiness, integrity, fairness, honesty, caring and good citizenship.

Whitfields highlights the various NGOs and the charitable organisations that we support financially every month, in our monthly owner newsletters. By doing so we hope that you may also consider offering support if you can, so that together we can make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
