Welcome to 2024! The dust has settled on our 30 year celebrations and its time to knuckle down and get stuck in to what the next decade holds for us at Whitfields. 
Last year I attended the annual Global Leadership Summit, as I normally do, and was inspired by Craig Groeschel’s opening talk where he presented a simple formula :
TRANSPARENCY + EMPATHY + CONSISTENCY = TRUST
When you look after what for many is the biggest investment they will make in their lives, it is imperative that you build and earn trust. And so my challenge to the Whitfields team this year is to do just that.
How are we going to do this?
Craig says in relation to transparency, that when communication decreases, uncertainty increases. We need to ensure that we send out regular, meaningful communication to all our clients.
With regards to empathy, we can’t just care about the properties we manage, we need to care about the individuals who own and occupy them.
And when it comes to consistency, it’s not what we do occasionally that matters, it’s what we do consistently.
The above applies not only to all leaders in society, but to people in general. Wouldn’t the world be a wonderful place if we all applied this formula?
May 2024 be a year of building trust in all our relationships!
